Qiao Wenhong, Secretary of the Party committee, deputy general manager and chairman of the trade union, presented awards to employees whose children were admitted to undergraduate universities. The awards totaled 30,000 yuan.

         In 2018, a total of 9 employees were admitted to undergraduate institutions. They are Liu Mengyuan, son of electrician Liu Xinhua in hot plate silicon steel workshop, Zhou Siqi, daughter of semi-trailer driver Zhou Guangcai in manufacturing department, Wu Wenwen, daughter of Wu Longquan, safety officer of Anhuan Department, Hu Qing, son of Hu Lingxia in logistics department, and Liu Li, son of galvanizing unit operator Liu Yong in manufacturing department of strip company. Two undergraduate students, Wang Kang, son of Wang Nengsen, a roll grinding technician, and Chen Yan, daughter of Chen Guangwen, a semi-trailer driver in the manufacturing department, were enrolled in the second class of undergraduate colleges. Two were enrolled in the independent college, Yu Fuqi, daughter of spare rack worker in the rolling workshop, and Wu Xianmeng, son of Wu Guoli, an operator in the hot-plate silicon steel workshop. The company awards 4,000 yuan, 3,000 yuan and 2,000 yuan respectively to the employees whose children are admitted to the first, second and independent colleges.

         At the same time, the company declared to the Daye Federation of Trade Unions, Hu Lingxia, Chen Guangwen two employees were also awarded the Daye Federation of Trade Unions Golden Autumn Student Award.
